Terms and Conditions for Boat Rental with On Waves, Vourvourou, Halkidiki
Thank you for choosing On Waves for your boat rental needs in Vourvourou, Halkidiki. By booking a boat with us, you agree to the following terms and conditions. We are committed to offering exceptional services, but we acknowledge that unexpected situations may occur, and we appreciate your cooperation and understanding.
- Booking, Boat Rental Requirements and Payment:
- To secure your boat rental, a deposit is required at the time of booking.
- Full payment must be made before the boat is delivered to the renter.
- No license is required to handle a motorboat up to 30hp.
Id card, passport or driving lisence is required the day of rental.
- Cancellation Policy:
- Cancellations made at least 7 days before the rental date will receive a full refund.
- Cancellations within 6 days of the rental date are non-refundable.
In case of bad weather and if there is a rental prohibition from the port authorities we can change the date of your reservation for the next days.
- Age Requirement:
- Renters must be at least 20 years old to operate motorboats with on waves boat rental.
- Safety and Liability:
- While onboard, renters are responsible for their safety and the safety of others.
- The company is not liable for any loss, damage, or injury sustained during the rental period.
Before entering the boat the renter must check the condition of the boat and the outboard engine.
- Departure and Return:
- The boat must be returned to the designated location by the agreed-upon time.
- Late returns may result in additional charges.
- Prohibited Activities:
- The use of the boat after dusk is strictly prohibited.
- Renters without valid speedboat license are not permitted to leave the waters of Vourvourou and Diaporos island, during the rental period.
The maximum distance from the shore must not exceed 2nm.
- Insurance Coverage:
- The boat is insured for accidents involving third parties.
- Safety Briefing:
- A comprehensive safety briefing will be provided by our team before the commencement of the rental period.
- Fuel Policy:
- The boat will be provided with a full tank of fuel. Renters are responsible for fuel consumption during the rental period.
Fuel is not included in the price.
- Compliance with Regulations:
- Renters must adhere to all local boating regulations and laws.
